1.7 µm InGaAs avalanche photodiode arrays
for Geiger-mode operation, single-photon detection
Back-Illuminated 2×2, 4×4, 1×16 Pixels, 800nm – 1700nm
Our back-illuminated single-photon InGaAs avalanche photodiode (1.7 µm), designed for Geiger-mode operation, is available in 2×2, 4×4, and 1×16 element arrays — as well as other models. The pixel pitch is 50 µm, utilizing a back-illuminated structure with an integrated microlens on the rear side to enhance the effective fill factor. This makes it suitable for applications such as free-space optical communication, spatial single-photon detection, and low-light-level detection, among others.
