The APD1.0TF-3<\/strong> is a broadband SiC UV avalanche photodiode<\/strong> optimized for operation in both linear mode<\/strong> and Geiger mode<\/strong>.
It covers all three UV spectral ranges\u2014UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C\u2014within a wavelength range of 200 nm to 350 nm<\/strong>, making it ideal for demanding UV detection applications.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the wide bandgap of silicon carbide (SiC)<\/strong>, the detector exhibits excellent visible blindness<\/strong> and is virtually insensitive to visible and infrared light.
In Geiger mode, the APD1.0TF-3 enables high internal gain<\/strong> and reliable single-photon counting<\/strong> even at extremely low light intensities.<\/p>\n

SiC technology also ensures low dark current<\/strong>, high breakdown voltage stability<\/strong>, and excellent resistance to temperature and radiation<\/strong>, making the detector particularly suitable for use in harsh environments.
