atto-i-7

Ultra-low-noise InGaAs photodiode–amplifier combination with 50/125 fiber pigtail
Spectral range 800 nm–1600 nm
|
For the photoamplifiers of the atto series, the lowest-noise, TE-cooled photodiodes available are carefully selected and used. A built-in TE controller maintains the detector temperature stable within a few millikelvins, which benefits the consistency of the spectral sensitivity, especially near the detector’s cutoff region. The amplification of the detector signals is achieved via a customized current-to-voltage converter whose intrinsic noise is low compared to that of the detector. This allows light powers even in the atto-watt range to be converted into proportional output voltages, which can be conveniently processed further using an oscilloscope, voltmeter, or A/D converter card. The power supply is provided via a small included plug-in power adapter. The technical data of each device are measured and documented individually.
