| Photodiode amplifier hybrids |
The Photops™ series combines a photodiode with an operational amplifier in the same housing. Photops™ detectors for general applications have a spectral range of either 350 nm to 1100 nm or 200 nm to 1100 nm. They have an integrated housing that ensures a low-noise output signal under a variety of operating conditions. These operational amplifiers are specifically selected for their compatibility with our photodiodes. Among many of these special parameters are low noise, low drift, and the ability to support a variety of gains and bandwidths determined by external feedback components. Operation from DC level to several MHz is possible either in a low-frequency configuration without bias for low-drift applications, or with bias for faster response times. The LN series Photops™ must be used with reverse bias. Any modification of the above-mentioned photodiodes is possible. The modifications can simply be adding an optical bandpass filter, integrating an additional chip component (hybrid) in the same housing using a different operational amplifier, replacing the photodetector, modified housing design and/or mounted on PCB or ceramic.
